Did you catch the sneaky bonus chapter on Sunday?? I got too antsy for weekly posts so I'm doubling up now on the home stretch. ICYMI: https://megoolders.substack.com/p/its-not-weird-28 And thank you for reading along all this way. 💜🙏💐
I've also been thinking about doubling up for short stories but am not sure that it would work for Substack that likes short-short. Talking here about _The Woman Who Never Cooked_ that you can find out about on my website, Meg: www.marytabor.com Thoughts welcome, as always.
I plan to write something here about how serializing went for me on Substack. Hopefully, that will provide some insights for you. I started out here as a short fiction newsletter, but haven't published a short story in a long time. Fiction is a hard sell on this platform, but if you have a loyal following for your other work, I think you'll find that folks will be eager to join you on a course change. I'll take a peek at TWWNC soon! Thank you for sharing! 💜💜💐💐
I serialized _Who by Fire_ and that went well: Chapters are short--and Alisa picked it up. Would love for you to have a look at the short story collection! Every single one was published in a lit mag. and a bunch won prizes too.
Agreed. And, and her sweetness is coming through more now as well. Thanks to all this socio-emotional learning and growing with Merrick, Danielle, and even Drake.
A few more chapters to go! Have so loved having you along for this story ride, my friend. 💐
Called it. Poor kid. 😔

Ack, I did miss it! Reading now...
Whew...thank you for the progress of these two kids. So hard to be a teen...🥹🩷
So true! 💜

Loved this chapter.
Thank you.
It's one of my favorites. 😊
Annie is a good apple, but more Pink Lady than Granny Smith. She's sweet, firm & crunchy, with just a hint of tartness.

So happy to be here!
